2008 Business Systems & Operations Analyst
(Salesforce, Data Quality & Issue Resolution)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems & Operations Analyst to support our Remarketing Operations team by monitoring business processes, investigating system and data issues, managing defect resolution, and partnering with IT teams to improve operational performance.
This role serves as a liaison between business operations and technical teams, helping identify, document, track, and validate the resolution of issues across Salesforce, enterprise data platforms, and integrated business systems. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and enjoys solving complex operational problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily reports, dashboards, and system outputs to identify data discrepancies, transaction failures, and operational issues.
- Investigate and analyze data quality issues across Salesforce, enterprise systems, and data platforms.
- Identify trends and recurring issues impacting business operations.
- Create detailed defect tickets with supporting documentation, business impact, and root cause analysis.
- Track issues through resolution and validate that corrective actions have been successfully implemented.
- Partner with Business, IT, Data, Product, and Support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Support backlog reduction initiatives by researching and resolving historical operational issues.
- Maintain issue logs, status reports, and defect tracking documentation.
- Document recurring issues, resolutions, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve monitoring processes, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, Application Support, Production Support, Data Analysis, QA, or a related field.
- Experience investigating system issues, operational exceptions, or data discrepancies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Filtering and Sorting
- Data Validation
- Experience working with ticketing or defect tracking systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce user, analyst, support, or administration experience.
- Experience with data quality analysis and issue resolution.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications or integrated systems.
- Exposure to root cause analysis, incident management, or production support processes.
- Experience with data pipelines, file processing, or system integrations.
- Prior experience within automotive, financial services, lending, logistics, or operations environments.
