Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst with an interest in data analysis to join our growing team. This role is ideal for entry level candidates or candidates looking to start their career in business analysis. The successful candidate will work with business stakeholders, gather requirements, analyze data, prepare reports, and support business decisions through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.

• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.

• Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for business users.

• Assist in data validation, data cleansing, and quality assurance activities.

• Support project planning, testing, and implementation.

• Prepare process documentation, business workflows, and user stories.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and project teams.

• Participate in meetings and provide project status updates.

• Perform ad hoc business and data analysis as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic understanding of business analysis concepts.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data analysis.

• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).

• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Basic knowledge of data visualization and reporting.

• Exposure to Jira or Confluence is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Internship or academic project experience in business analysis or data analysis.

• Business Analysis or Data Analytics certification is a plus.
