About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst who is passionate about solving business problems using data. This role is ideal for entry level candidates and early-career professionals who have a strong analytical mindset and want to build a career in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, and Digital Transformation.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with business stakeholders, analyzing data, documenting requirements, and supporting software implementation projects.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collect, clean, validate, and interpret business data.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics using Excel and visualization tools.
Write basic SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.
Assist with data validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect tracking.
Support Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
Maintain project documentation using Jira and Confluence.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Required Technical Skills
Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Charts, Data Analysis)
SQL (Basic to Intermediate)
Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
Microsoft Office Suite
Basic understanding of relational databases
SDLC concepts
Agile/Scrum methodology
Preferred Skills (optional)
Knowledge of business process modeling.
Familiarity with BPMN, flowcharts, or Visio.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Basic understanding of APIs and data integration concepts.
Exposure to Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
Understanding of ETL processes is a plus.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality concepts.
