Salary Range: $69,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Norton Shores that are seeking skilled Test Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for manufacturing processes and products.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, and report on product quality and manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to define test requirements and improve product testability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues found during testing, working with engineering to implement solutions.
• Configure, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and fixtures.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test procedures and reports.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and potential failure modes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
• Proficiency in developing automated tests using scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
• Experience with test equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) or other data analysis techniques for manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with robotic systems, PLCs, or other automation technologies common in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industry-specific compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, AS9100) relevant to the manufacturing sector.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement test solutions for complex electromechanical systems.
• Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) or relevant manufacturing methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
