Job Title: Art Director
Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are supporting a creative leadership opportunity focused on retail storytelling and the development of immersive consumer experiences. Our team is looking for a strategic and hands-on creative professional who can shape scalable design solutions, guide junior talent, and help bring impactful concepts to life across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of consumer-led retail concepts and storytelling across immersive retail environments and experiences.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to move projects from concept through delivery while maintaining creative intent, timelines, and budgets.
- Guide and support junior designers through leadership, design direction, and clear presentation of concepts and production files when needed.
- Apply design expertise across environmental graphic design, fixtures, materials, digital, and related creative disciplines to deliver holistic solutions.
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years of brand design experience with creative sophistication in concepts and visual communications.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Recent Retail brand story design experience required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, architecture, interior design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; bachelor’s preferred.
- Must have Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Keynote; retail industry experience is preferred, along with retail environments, concepts, and programs experience.
- Must have a portfolio for team review and strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
- Ability to sketch design ideas and visually communicate concept development through ideation; international experience is beneficial.
