ERP/CRM Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to support a OneStream financial systems implementation in Katy, Texas. This Long-term Contract position will serve as a critical link between finance stakeholders, internal business teams, and the implementation partner to help deliver a practical, sustainable solution. The ideal candidate brings strong OneStream expertise along with the ability to bridge accounting requirements and system capabilities in a hands-on, techno-functional capacity.

Responsibilities:
Act as the primary internal advisor during the OneStream implementation, ensuring business objectives are clearly conveyed to the implementation partner and reflected in the delivered solution.
Work across the full project lifecycle by contributing to discovery sessions, solution planning, system setup, validation activities, deployment preparation, and post-launch support.
Build and enhance reporting capabilities within OneStream, including financial reports, dashboards, Cube Views, and Excel-connected reporting outputs.
Convert finance and accounting needs into workable system designs and functional configurations that support reporting, consolidation, planning, and forecasting activities.
Assess proposed configurations and design decisions from the implementation partner to confirm they support business expectations and long-term maintainability.
Coordinate data-related activities such as mappings, reconciliations, metadata alignment, workflow setup, and integration points between OneStream and source financial platforms.
Partner closely with Accounting, FP& A, Finance leadership, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, clarify priorities, and maintain project momentum.
Prepare user guides, training content, and supporting documentation, then lead knowledge transfer sessions to help teams confidently use and maintain the platform.
Support testing efforts by guiding user acceptance activities, tracking defects, and helping the organization prepare for a successful production rollout.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience, including strong hands-on work with OneStream and participation in multiple end-to-end implementations.
Solid knowledge of accounting and finance processes such as financial close, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
Proven ability to create, customize, and support reporting solutions within OneStream.
Experience operating in a techno-functional role with the ability to communicate effectively across technical teams and finance stakeholders.
Strong background in requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, and problem resolution.
Experience working with a systems integrator or implementation partner while representing client-side business interests.
Ability to deliver end-user training and create practical documentation for finance teams or system administrators.
Familiarity with integrations from general ledger or enterprise systems into OneStream is considered an advantage.
