Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Financial SME with strong expertise in SAP Utilities, Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), billing, invoicing, collections, and financial integration. The candidate will support utility financial operations, SAP implementations, enhancements, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional SME for SAP IS-U Finance and FI-CA.
  • Manage utility billing, invoicing, payments, collections, refunds, and account reconciliation.
  • Support FI-CA processes including dunning, clearing, payment lots, and write-offs.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP IS-U, FI-CA, FI-GL, and SAP FICO.
  • Analyze financial transactions, revenue postings, and reconciliation issues.
  • Gather business requirements and provide functional solutions.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA Utilities transformation, testing, migration, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with finance, billing, and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills
  • 12+ years of SAP experience with strong SAP IS-U and FI-CA expertise.
  • Hands-on experience in utility billing, invoicing, collections, and financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of FI-CA configuration, account determination, and GL integration.
  • Experience with SAP IS-U integration across Device Management, Billing, and Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of meter-to-cash processes and utility revenue accounting.
  • Experience in SAP implementation, support, enhancements, and data migration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and SAP BRIM.
  • Experience in electric, gas, or water utility industries.
  • Knowledge of financial reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
  • SAP IS-U / FI-CA certification is a plus.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on SAP IS-U Financial SME with deep FI-CA expertise, strong utility meter-to-cash process knowledge, and proven experience integrating SAP Utilities with enterprise financial systems.
