RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chandler, AZ that is seeking a Semiconductor Wafer Technician. We are partnering directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search assignment, to fill this critical role on the Night Shift. Join our dynamic Fab Operations team and contribute to the production of advanced semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when verifying lot and tool status
* Run qualifications on production equipment and analyze data using statistical tools to confirm quality standards
* Operate production tools and troubleshoot out-of-control conditions, implementing OCAP (Out of Control Action Plans) and recipe adjustments per engineering instructions
* Perform preventive maintenance, including standard consumable changes, and resolve minor hardware/software issues
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives for tools and processes within the manufacturing environment
* Maintain strict safety standards when working around sensitive equipment and hazardous chemicals
* Physical requirements include standing, walking, manual dexterity, and visual acuity for equipment operation and technical tasks; Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs; Maintenance tasks may require lifting up to 75 lbs
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years of experience as an engineering technician in the semiconductor industry
* Familiarity with AMAT Centura 5200/5500, Producer, Mirra Mesa platforms, Gasonics Ashers, Semi-Tool electroplating, AVP Diffusion, SEZ Cleans, and KLA Metrology equipment is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
* Comfortable with extended periods on your feet and moving between multiple bays in the factory
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
