Description
Azure + Fabric Next Best Action (NBA) Solution Architect
Role Overview
Lead the architecture and design of Bright Horizons Next Best Action platform across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, orchestration, rules execution, activation channels, and AI/ML capabilities. The architect must be capable of making architecture trade-off decisions across Fabric, Azure integration services, real-time decisioning, event-driven processing, and machine learning platforms.

Primary Responsibilities
Define end-to-end NBA architecture across Fabric, Azure, Customer Insights, and AI/ML services.
Design Signal Store, Action Catalog, Decision Support, Decision History, and Profile integration architecture.
Define synchronous and asynchronous decisioning patterns.
Lead architecture decisions around session context, suppression, eligibility, prioritization, and recommendation delivery.
Design APIs, orchestration services, event-driven processing, and channel integration patterns.
Define MyBH, Customer Insights Journeys, Contact Center, and future Chat activation architecture.
Lead architecture decisions for Azure ML vs Fabric ML, batch scoring vs real-time scoring, and model operationalization.
Provide architecture governance, technical leadership, and design reviews.

Strongly Preferred Experience
Implementation of Next Best Action, recommendation, decisioning, personalization, or customer engagement platforms.
Experience with Pega, Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, FICO, Customer Insights, Tealium, or similar decisioning platforms.
Experience designing suppression frameworks, eligibility frameworks, action catalogs, signal stores, and customer decisioning architectures.
Experience supporting both batch and real-time decisioning channels.
Critical Capabilities
Explain when to use Azure Logic Apps vs Azure Functions vs Service Bus.
Design orchestration and rules engine interaction patterns.
Explain why and when a separate Signal Store is required.
Determine when Azure ML should be used versus Fabric ML.
Design recommendation delivery patterns for MyBH Chat, CI-J, and future channels.
Design highly scalable, auditable, and explainable recommendation services.
Ideal Candidate
Strong Azure architect first, Fabric architect second.
Comfortable with operational systems, APIs, integration, and event processing.
Can lead architecture discussions with executives, engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders.
Can translate customer behavior, signals, and business goals into scalable decisioning solutions.
