Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Business Analyst with a strong background in cloud migration, Azure platform implementations, and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, solution analysis, cloud transformation initiatives, and successful delivery of Azure-based solutions.

- Azure Business Analysis & Cloud Transformation
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Azure cloud initiatives.
- Strong experience in cloud migration, cloud implementation, and digital transformation projects.
- Azure Certifications
- Minimum of three Microsoft Azure certifications required, including:
- AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals)
- AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)
- One additional Azure Data, Security, or Specialty certification.
- Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management
- Expertise in business requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, and documentation.
- Strong ability to work with business users, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Azure Services & Data Analysis
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure Monitor
- Power BI
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Testing, Validation & Process Improvement
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, issue resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Agile/Scrum project delivery experience.
- Azure DevOps for backlog management, user stories, and sprint planning.
- Knowledge of Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with Cloud Governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience in Manufacturing, Environmental Services, Waste Management, or Hazardous Waste industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Azure-based initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and cloud engineers to define solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Support Azure migration and implementation projects from requirements through deployment.
- Create business process flows, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Perform data analysis and reporting using SQL, Power BI, and Azure data services.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements review sessions.
- Coordinate and support UAT activities, validation testing, and defect resolution.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Certifications Required
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- At least one additional Azure certification in Data, Security, AI, or Architecture
