Summary

Product Consultant / Digital Platform Consultant

We are not accepting C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Additional Locations:
  • Minneapolis, MN
  • Irving, TX

Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week, typically Monday through Wednesday)
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Consultant to support a strategic digital content platform roadmap and critical business priorities. This role will partner with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to enhance platform capabilities, improve content management processes, and drive high-quality digital experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management practices with experience in content management systems, testing coordination, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in defining requirements, managing backlogs, supporting testing activities, and ensuring successful execution of platform enhancements.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs aligned to business objectives and platform roadmaps.
  • Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to deliver platform enhancements.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and quality assurance efforts across cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze test results and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, communicate priorities, and manage competing business needs.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to effective product delivery practices.
  • Ensure platform capabilities deliver measurable business value and align with organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, digital platforms, content management systems, or digital optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or related methodologies.
  • Experience with backlog management, user story development, and requirement gathering.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Experience coordinating testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Experience using analytics and performance data to support product decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a comparable CMS platform.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile certification (Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent).
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Experience developing test strategies and business requirements documentation.
  • Knowledge of regression testing and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and proactive project management skills.
  • Experience working within large, fast-paced enterprise organizations.
  • Prior experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
