Join our quality engineering team as a Senior Test Automation Engineer responsible for establishing and driving robust automated testing practices. In this role, you will lead test automation efforts for web, API, and mobile applications, ensuring our software releases meet high standards of reliability and performance.

responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks using modern testing tools.
- Integrate automated regression and smoke testing into continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Partner with software developers and product teams to analyze requirements, triage failures, and resolve defects.
- Track quality metrics, optimize test stability, and mentor team members on test automation practices.
qualifications:
10+ years of dedicated experience in Test Automation Development within an SDET role.
Strong programming background with proficiency in JavaScript, C#, JScript, or VB Script.
Hands-on experience with TestComplete (SmartBear) or similar automated GUI testing tools.
Experience using version control systems such as Git, TFS, or SVN.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Playwright for modern web automation.
Experience testing Angular-based web applications.
Ability to relocate to and work on-site in Chicago, IL.
