We are looking for Information Architect - HR Analytics for our client in Frisco, TX.

Job Title: Information Architect - HR Analytics

Job Location: Frisco, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

  • The Information Architect is the end-to-end technical authority for the HR Analytics data estate, owning architecture from upstream authoritative source systems through to certified data products delivered in Microsoft Fabric.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Must have skills in Enterprise Data Architecture (Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling).
  • Experience in HR Analytics & HR Data Domains (Talent, Workforce, Compensation, Learning, People Analytics).
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Platform (Databricks, Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture Bronze/Silver/Gold).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Semantic Layer, Certified Data Products, Power BI Models).
  • Understanding of Data Integration Patterns (Batch, CDC, Streaming) & Integration Contracts.
  • Experience in Data Governance & Standards (Unity Catalog, Business Glossary Alignment, Data Quality).
  • Hands-on experience in Data Engineering (Complex Pipelines, Transformations, Performance Optimization).
  • Technical Leadership experience (Architecture Reviews, Engineering Standards, DevOps Ownership).

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end information architecture for HR Analytics, from authoritative source systems through ingestion, transformation, lakehouse, semantic layer, and certified Fabric data products.
  • Maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for HR Analytics, aligned to the enterprise business glossary and HR domain semantics.
  • Define and own integration contracts with upstream source-system teams, including data delivery patterns, schema agreements, SLA commitments, and change management protocols.
  • Establish and enforce engineering standards for data modeling, pipeline design, testing, documentation, and reliability.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews, setting the quality bar for all HR Analytics data products.
  • Act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing directly to complex pipeline builds and resolving critical engineering challenges.
  • Partner closely with Principal Data Engineers to guide platform evolution and implementation patterns.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer / Data Architect.
  • Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer.
  • Databricks Data Engineer / Architect.
