This is a high-impact opportunity to drive modernization efforts as well as strengthen IT security across a complex North American enterprise. You'll work closely with IT leadership, infrastructure and application teams, and business stakeholders to introduce new technologies, improve processes, strengthen governance, and drive meaningful improvements across cloud and on-premises environments.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Own and advance enterprise IT security across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and business operations.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen security, resilience, and risk management across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Partner with IT leadership, engineering, application teams, and business stakeholders to introduce new technologies, security controls, and operational improvements.
- Own security monitoring, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response processes, including SIEM and EDR/XDR technologies.
- Drive improvements in IT governance, security policies, compliance, and enterprise risk management.
- Collaborate on disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resilience planning.
- Establish scalable security processes, reporting standards, and accountability across internal teams and external service providers.
- Influence long-term technology strategy, evaluate emerging capabilities, and help shape the future security organization.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive experience across enterprise IT infrastructure, information security, or related technical disciplines.
- 3+ years of technical leadership, team leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, applications, cloud technologies, and IT security principles.
- Experience supporting large, complex, or geographically distributed enterprise environments.
- Experience improving IT security practices, implementing new technologies, or developing enterprise processes and standards.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and hybrid enterprise environments.
- Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, risk management, and security frameworks.
- Background in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, enterprise security, or IT architecture.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, MSSP/MDR, and security monitoring technologies.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance, security audits, or governance initiatives.
- Experience with automation, emerging technologies, or AI-related initiatives.
