Automation Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking an Automation Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Design, manage and support infrastructure, on-prem and at CSPs
* Consulting with Business Partners on standard methodologies and options
* Resolve complex issues related to DDI environments (on-call rotation)
* Work closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability Network Services

REQUIREMENTS:
* Network certifications a plus but not required
* 2-4+ years of network engineering experience
* Senior level automation experience using Python and Ansible Tower
* Ability to build and deploy new automation solutions and troubleshooting existing automation
* Experience in Infoblox and DNS or other DDI platforms
* Ability to mentor and help develop engineering team in automation
* Ability to develop and deploy DDI automation
* Hands-on experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
* Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge
* Network Engineering and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with Linux and scripting
* Proven ability to troubleshoot cloud networking issues
* Experienced in change management best practices
* Enterprise Security Policy knowledge and standard methodologies
* Experience with Agile methodologies
* Skilled verbally and with presenting to senior team members on strategic idea innovations
* Ability to work in a team environment
* SNOW development experience a plus
* Team automation SME
* Strong desire to become a DDI SME
* Strong desire to learn load balancing and support and maintain load balancing automation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
