Description and Location

As a Forward Deployed Engineer , you will leverage your expertise in Palantir Foundry and AWS cloud technologies to deploy and customize solutions that address complex aerospace challenges. You will develop and maintain Foundry pipelines, modular applications, and workflows while collaborating with stakeholders to refine data models and optimize data integration.
This role requires proficiency in Foundrys application development ecosystem, cloud infrastructure, and agile methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into MVPs, validate solutions quickly, and enhance them into scalable, robust production applications.
Palantir Foundry Development and Deployment - Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines using Pipeline Builder to ingest, transform, and integrate data.
Build modular applications and workflows leveraging Python, PySpark and Foundry AIP.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to refine data models and ontology mapping.
Assist in Foundry workshops to guide stakeholders through platform capabilities.
Support testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Foundry applications.
Data Integration and Analytics Work with aerospace data to identify patterns, trends, and insights using Palantir Foundry and AWS analytical tools.
Develop custom applications and workflows within Foundry and AWS to address specific challenges.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with aerospace industry standards.
Lean Principles and Continuous Improvement: Apply lean methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Share feedback with Palantir and AWS product teams to enhance tools and workflows.

Technical Qualifications:
• Platforms: Deep experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, AIP, application development).
Cloud Services: Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch and CloudFormation.
Programming: Strong Python and SQL skills. Front end development skill like React is good to have

Tools: Experience with Git-based repositories and CI/CD workflows
