Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Quality Plans, Control Plans, and inspection checklists, while deriving Critical to Quality (CTQ) parameters and establishing Q-gates.
  • Monitor and analyze First Pass Yield metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
  • Proactively monitor customer complaints, conducting thorough analyses to determine root causes, and implementing corrective actions; Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) during customer audits, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and certification audits (UL, CSA, ISO), ensuring all requirements are met and issues are promptly addressed.
  • Perform COPQ analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities, implementing initiatives that reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance overall profitability; Mapping current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement through automation.
 
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering or related field with PLUS minimum 2 years of experience
  • Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, 7 QC tools, 5S, 5Why, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, SPC, DMAIC & 8D Root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with key industry standards such as UL1561, NEMA ST-20, IEEE C57.12.01, IEEE C57.12.91, DOE 2016, UL891, and CSA C22.2 is desirable, which enhances compliance and product reliability.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for client in the US.
  • The site does have both assembly and testing (high voltage electricity). In the event that support is needed in test or during the FAT, they will be in the high voltage electricity area as visitors, not as testers.
