We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented BIM Modeler to join our innovative team in the Engineering industry. This exciting role involves working on a variety of projects, including the design and construction of commercial buildings. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on using AutoCAD and BIM modeling. With over 2 years of experience in a similar role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team's success by driving the development and implementation of complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage detailed BIM (Building Information Modeling) electrical models and drawings for a variety of commercial projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure that the electrical design aligns with project specifications and standards.
3. Use BIM software to create 3D models of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and power systems.
4. Review and update models and drawings to reflect design changes and improvements.
5. Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems into the overall project design.
6. Perform clash detection and assist in problem-solving during the design and construction phases.
7. Assist in the development of BIM standards and workflows within the organization.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding BIM and AutoCAD 3D.
9. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and feedback on the electrical design and modeling.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modeling in the commercial electrical industry.
3. Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software.
4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including design and construction processes.
5. Experience in the design and construction of commercial buildings is highly desirable.
