seeking an autonomous Salesforce Developer to support the Deal Desk and Procurement teams. The current sole Salesforce Developer is over-capacity, causing significant bottlenecks in deal flow. This contractor will focus specifically on Deal Desk-related projects to streamline operations and reduce response times.
· Primary Objective: Reduce Deal Desk SLAs from 5 days down to 48 hours through workflow optimization and automation.
· Key Challenge: The current process requires manual workarounds (e.g., approving the same quote 4 times, excessive clicks) that need to be automated or re-architected.
Key Responsibilities
· Workflow Optimization: Automate contracted pricing uploads and streamline approval processes to eliminate "major blocks."
· Requirements Translation: Interface directly with Jeremy and the Deal Desk team to take high-level business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Project Focus: While the internal Developer "keeps the lights on," this contractor will own new projects specifically for the Deal Desk roadmap.
· Technical Implementation: Primarily focused on configuring "out-of-the-box" functionalities with occasional custom development.
