Epic Consultant (EpicCare Ambulatory & Willow Inpatient Certified) Remote
Location: Remote (EST or CST preferred)
Duration: 3 6 Month Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Epic Consultant / Epic Analyst to support pharmacy and clinical operations within a large healthcare environment. This role requires deep expertise in EpicCare Ambulatory and Willow Inpatient, with a strong focus on Ambulatory build and pharmacy workflow support.
The consultant will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain Epic systems that support high-impact healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, build, configuration, and support of EpicCare Ambulatory workflows
Provide specialized support for pharmacy operations and Epic system functionality
Support Willow Inpatient applications for Coram business needs
Act as a backup resource for Willow Inpatient support activities
Collaborate with leadership on strategic and high-impact initiatives
Participate in system planning, design, implementation, and maintenance
Analyze and optimize existing Epic workflows and processes
Ensure system alignment with clinical and pharmacy operational requirements
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
10+ years of Epic application experience
Active EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (Mandatory No Exceptions)
Active Willow Inpatient Certification (Mandatory)
Strong hands-on experience with both EpicCare Ambulatory and Willow Inpatient modules
Proven experience building and supporting Ambulatory workflows
Deep understanding of pharmacy workflows and Epic system capabilities
Strong knowledge of clinical and pharmacy operations in a healthcare environment
