As a Business Systems Analyst, you will transform, maintain, and enhance Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, and associated applications to meet Finance business needs. This role involves global, cross-functional collaboration to implement and optimize Billing, Revenue, Collection, Intercompany, and Accounting processes. Your Oracle and domain expertise is vital for delivering innovative, user-friendly solutions.
Key Candidate Experience: The primary challenge is finding candidates with experience in selling hardware, software, and subscriptions, not just financial services. Experience with bundle billing and revenue management is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Manage Oracle Fusion/EBS and boundary apps (80% functional, 20% technical).
- Review Order-to-Cash for billing, revenue, and accounting of hardware, services, subscriptions, and bundles.
- Design/own billing processes: e-invoicing (international compliance), project/non-project billing, and invoice documents.
- Administer integrations: Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, Vertex, and boundary apps.
- Troubleshoot/debug system issues, providing business-level root cause insights/solutions.
- Candidates can be remote but preference for Chicago local to come onsite as needed (no formal return to office policy)
- Leverage Oracle's AI/Agentic AI for efficiency and better business outcomes.
- Drive process simplification and adopt best practices for enhanced user experience.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders (US, EMEA, etc.) in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Top Skills Details
- Experience with subscription & bundled billing (hardware + software/services), including revenue recognition
- Strong Oracle Financials background (Billing or Revenue modules in EBS/Fusion Cloud)- but not financial industry experience
- Ability to own decisions (evaluate SI solutions and choose the best path not just recommend options)
