Job Overview:
Pay Range: $43.00hr - $48.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11+), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience building distributed systems and scalable applications.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Domain experience in P&C or Life Insurance systems.
- Strong combination of hands-on coding, architecture, and team leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade insurance applications using Java full stack technologies, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud platforms.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications.
- Lead end-to-end full stack development using Java (Spring Boot) and UI frameworks like React or Angular.
- Define and drive microservices-based architecture and API strategy.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications on AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and RDS.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
- Define solution architecture, integration patterns, and system workflows.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate with insurance platforms such as Guidewire.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure code quality through testing, automation, and reviews.
