An Application Engineer is sought to support, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure applications are stable, secure, and high-performing. The position includes participation in solution design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor application health, logs, interfaces, and integrations to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage user access, roles, permissions, and data configurations.
- Support upgrades, patches, and release deployments.
- Comprehend customer requests and provide the correct solution.
- Work with minimal supervision and as part of a team with diverse skill sets.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and SQL.
- Understanding of relational databases, cloud services, and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with Linux and Powershell.
Professional Skills:- A self-starter who works with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical mind to address complicated problems.
- Desire to resolve issues and investigate potential problems.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SafeBreach, Mandiant, or other testing tool implementation.
- Experience with Ansible.
