Summary

AI Automation & Process Optimization Consultant – Pharma Manufacturing

Location:- Vacaville, CA (Hybrid/ Onsite)

Duration:- 12 Months+

We are currently seeking an AI Automation & Process Optimization Consultant for a 12+ month contract based in Vacaville, CA – this is a hybrid/onsite role. This engagement supports a client's AI-Driven Automation for Pharma Manufacturing initiative, focused on requirements collection and process optimization.

Role Overview:
This engagement is centered on leveraging AI, automation, and intelligent workflows to streamline requirement gathering, enhance manufacturing efficiency, and modernize end-to-end pharma operations. The client is developing a project to process-automate end-to-end, and they need someone who can bridge AI/ML development with real-world pharma process automation.

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline requirements gathering and process optimization.
  • Build scalable AI process-automation frameworks that improve compliance, reduce manual effort, and accelerate digital transformation.
  • Develop use cases and drive end-to-end development of automation solutions.
  • Work across regulated environments where compliance and documentation are critical.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify automation opportunities and translate them into scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong AI/ML background with end-to-end development experience.
  • Proven process automation expertise — not just strategy, but hands-on implementation.
  • Ability to create use cases and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
  • Pharma industry background with knowledge of manufacturing operations, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of how AI and automation can be applied within regulated environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Someone who understands both the technical side (AI/ML, Python, Java, automation) and the business side (pharma manufacturing, compliance, process optimization) — and can operate independently to drive outcomes.
