Senior Business Systems Consultant

We are seeking a senior-level Business Systems Consultant (SME) to drive the modernization, analysis, and optimization of critical data management systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between senior stakeholders and IT teams, mapping out future-state technology solutions while occasionally diving deep into data and technical architectures.

Key Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this position, your background must reflect the following expert-level capabilities:

• Business Process Mastery (10+ Years): Expert-level experience managing complex AS-IS and TO-BE business process reviews, workflow documentation, and translating business needs into technical design alternatives.
• Data Analysis & Systems Quality (7+ Years): Advanced data analysis, database familiarity, data review/cleanup assessments, and experience mapping out System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Comfort with requirements management and the ability to perform basic analysis directly within application source code if needed.
• Testing & QA Validation (4+ Years): Proven experience guiding Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), along with delivery of end-user training.
• Domain Knowledge (Highly Preferred): Basic familiarity with NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) reporting standards and crash data management systems.
• Project Leadership: 4+ years of cross-functional project and task management, with polished verbal and written communication skills suitable for Mid and Senior executives.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of proven IT/Computer Science or related industry experience acting as a functional or software Subject Matter Expert.
