Overview:
We are seeking an experienced PLM Integration Consultant to support the integration of a new Materials Data Management solution MatVault, built on the Ansys Granta platform with PTC Windchill PLM.
This role will be critical in establishing MatVault as the system of record for materials data, ensuring seamless integration and data flow into Windchill to support engineering, product development, and downstream processes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Windchill architecture, PLM data models, and system integrations, along with experience integrating external data systems into PLM environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of MatVault (Ansys Granta) with Windchill PLM
• Define and implement data flow, synchronization, and governance models between systems
• Establish materials data as a single source of truth and ensure proper consumption within Windchill
• Design and support APIs, middleware, or integration frameworks connecting PLM and materials systems
• Collaborate with engineering, materials science, and IT teams to align system usage and data structures
• Support data mapping, transformation, and validation between MatVault and Windchill
• Identify and resolve data integrity, traceability, and lifecycle management challenges
• Contribute to integration architecture, documentation, and best practices
• Support testing (system, integration, UAT) and go-live readiness activities

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM (configuration, data models, workflows)
• Proven experience integrating PLM systems with external platforms
• Solid understanding of product data models, BOM structures, and lifecycle management
• Experience with API-based integrations, ETL processes, or middleware tools
• Ability to work across business and technical teams, translating requirements into solutions
• Experience with data governance, master data management (MDM), or system-of-record design

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Ansys Granta / materials data management systems
• Background in materials engineering, R&D, or product development environments
• Familiarity with PLM integrations involving CAD, ERP, or engineering data systems
• Experience supporting regulated or highly structured data environments
• Knowledge of data traceability and compliance requirements
