We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support the deployment and adoption of Abnormal Security as part of our enterprise mock-phishing and cyber awareness program. This role will work closely with Cybersecurity, IT, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation, workflow optimization, and effective user engagement.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives, analyzing process gaps, and translating business needs into actionable requirements. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end rollout of Abnormal Security's phishing simulation and threat protection tools, including configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Partner with Cybersecurity leadership to analyze existing phishing program workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements; translate them into clear technical and operational specifications for project teams.
- Assist in creating and refining phishing simulation templates, campaigns, reporting dashboards, and user engagement materials.
- Coordinate mock-phishing scheduling, execution, tracking, and reporting activities.
- Monitor key performance metrics (click rates, reporting rates, behavioral trends) and develop insights to drive program maturity.
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams, capture notes, track action items, and ensure alignment across IT and business units.
- Maintain project artifacts including process maps, training materials, SOPs, and user guides.
- Support change management activities including stakeholder communication, training coordination, and end-user readiness.
- Ensure compliance with internal cybersecurity governance and industry best practices.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Cybersecurity, IT Security, or Risk Management.
- Familiarity with Abnormal Security or similar email security/phishing simulation platforms (e.g., KnowBe4, Proofpoint, Cofense) strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of phishing program operations, cyber awareness initiatives, and security behavior change.
- Excellent documentation abilities, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and reporting.
- Proficiency in project coordination and cross-functional communication.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret security-related metrics and trends.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Experience in enterprise email security systems (Microsoft 365, Exchange, secure email gateways).
- Background in change management or user awareness programs.
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, GSEC) are a plus.
