Position Overview
We are seeking a senior, hands-on Oracle EPM Infrastructure Upgrade Specialist with deep expertise in installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration of Oracle EPM 11.2+ environments within complex, distributed enterprise landscapes.
This is a delivery-critical role requiring proven, hands-on execution of application component migration and historical data migration, along with strong capabilities in infrastructure design, performance tuning, and disaster recovery readiness.
This position is ideal for specialists who have personally executed EPM installs, upgrades, and migrations, not just managed or overseen them.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and upgrades of Oracle EPM 11.2+ environments in multi-tier, distributed architectures
Install and configure Oracle EPM components including HFM, Essbase, DRM, ARM, FDMEE, and Financial Reporting (HFR)
Execute application component migration across environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD)
Lead historical data migration activities and ensure data integrity validation
Provide post-upgrade tuning and system stabilization for EPM applications
Design, size, and scale EPM infrastructure to meet performance, availability, and growth requirements
Design, support, and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) environments, including DR testing and readiness
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network, and security teams during implementation, cutover, and go-live
Independently deliver complex EPM upgrade and migration initiatives end-to-end
Required Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM on-prem infrastructure
Proven, end-to-end experience with Oracle EPM 11.2+ installation, configuration, and upgrades
Strong hands-on experience in distributed enterprise environments
Mandatory: Direct experience with application component migration and historical data migration
Demonstrated expertise in EPM performance tuning and system stabilization
Strong experience in infrastructure design, sizing, and capacity planning
Solid exposure to Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture, setup, and testing
Hands-on experience with HFM, Essbase, DRM, ARM, FDMEE, and Financial Reporting
Ability to work independently and drive delivery-critical initiatives
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with High Availability (HA) and enterprise-scale DR implementations
Exposure to Oracle EPM Cloud in addition to on-prem EPM
Experience supporting financial close, consolidation, or reconciliation processes
Oracle Hyperion / EPM certifications
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
