Job Summary

The Director of ERP & EDI is responsible for leading the implementation, optimization, and governance of the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms. This role ensures seamless integration between internal business processes and external trading partners, customers, and suppliers to enable efficient, accurate, and reliable data exchange across the enterprise.

Required Experience & Skills

• Experience with wholesale and footwear industry-specific ERP systems (BlueCherry, RLM, Aptean)
• Strong experience working with heterogeneous systems and complex data integrations
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex business and system process flows
• Strong understanding of ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• Strong understanding of EDI standards, mapping, and transaction processing
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

ERP Strategy & Management

• Define and execute the enterprise ERP roadmap aligned with business and IT strategies
• Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, and system integrations
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to analyze and optimize operational processes

EDI Strategy & Trading Partner Integration

• Manage and support integrations with customers, suppliers, logistics providers, and third parties
• Oversee EDI onboarding, mapping, testing, certification, and production support
• Monitor EDI transaction flows and manage exceptions and issue resolution

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop ERP/EDI team members
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor ERP and EDI system performance and reliability
• Drive automation, standardization, and process optimization initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
