The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture, technical governance, and design authority across IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and Collaborative Work Management (CWM).

The candidate will ensure that ServiceNow solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, Common Service Data Model (CSDM), integration requirements, and platform best practices. This role will focus on solution quality, scalability, security, release governance, and implementation readiness, following a configuration-over-customization approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and CWM.
  • Define, review, and approve solution designs in alignment with CSDM and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Act as the primary design authority for ServiceNow implementations, promoting configuration over customization and reusable platform capabilities.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, technical design workshops, code reviews, and configuration assessments.
  • Establish and enforce ServiceNow development standards, platform governance, and implementation best practices.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, test strategies, configurations, and deployment artifacts before production releases.
  • Govern release management, deployment strategies, environment management, platform upgrades, and production readiness.
  • Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and compliance requirements.
  • Define and govern integration strategies between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using APIs, IntegrationHub, and standard integration patterns.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, QA, business analysis, and support teams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable, and technically sound ServiceNow solutions.
  • Lead risk, action, issue, and dependency (RAID) management, phase-gate reviews, and technical status reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow Solution Architecture, Design Authority, and Technical Governance.
  • Strong expertise across the following ServiceNow modules:
    • IT Service Management (ITSM)
    • IT Operations Management (ITOM)
    • Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
    • Collaborative Work Management (CWM)
  • Strong understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and platform architecture.
  • Expertise in solution design, architecture reviews, and enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration frameworks, REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with release governance, deployment management, platform upgrades, and environment strategy.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow security, access controls, and compliance best practices.
  • Ability to balance business requirements with platform capabilities and architectural standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformation, modernization, or implementation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience governing cross-functional teams and leading architecture decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise delivery environments.
