We''re seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Data Scientist to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. As a Fullstack Data Scientist, you will work on two distinct modules, with a primary focus on payment optimization. Your expertise in data science, machine learning, and payment processing will be crucial in developing and implementing models that optimize payment routing and payload.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payment Optimization Module:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for payment routing optimization and payload optimization.
- Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform payment optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment optimization models into existing systems.
2. Technical Expertise:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
- Utilize data science and machine learning techniques to drive business outcomes and improve payment processing efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in payment processing, machine learning, and data science.
3. Data Engineering:
- Work with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines for payment processing data.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
2. Payment Processing Experience:
- Experience working with payment processing systems, protocols, and technologies (e.g., debit/credit cards, e-payments, ACH).
- Knowledge of payment routing optimization and payload optimization techniques.
3. Banking and Financial Experience:
- Experience working in the banking or financial industry, or with financial datasets.
- Understanding of financial regulations and industry standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
Nice to Have:
1. Experience with Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
2. Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies.
3. Experience with Version Control Systems: Git, SVN.
