Position: Estimator Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
Project Estimation & Bidding
Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to
determine project scope.
Prepare accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment.
Submit complete bid proposals to clients and provide clarifications as needed.
Project Management & Execution
Manage awarded projects from initiation through completion.
Coordinate with construction managers, field teams, and subcontractors.
Establish project objectives, schedules, and performance standards.
Monitor subcontractor work and overall project progress.
Client Interaction & Support
Provide professional support to clients, including planning, design, and pricing
assistance.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, agencies, and community
stakeholders.
Documentation & Financial Oversight
Maintain detailed documentation of project estimates and completed work.
Partner with contract administrators to manage billing, payments, and
collections.
Track project costs and support forecasting for future performance.
Operations & Problem Solving
Support construction/operations teams for efficient project execution.
Troubleshoot issues related to materials, equipment, and project performance.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, and safety regulations.
Promote a safe and environmentally compliant work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong project management and estimation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Strong communication and client management skills.
Attention to detail and regulatory compliance knowledge.
Required Experience and Education
Bachelor s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2+ years of project management experience.
Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record.
