Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Data Center Network Engineers with strong expertise in modern EVPN-VXLAN fabrics, AI/ML networking, automation, and large-scale DC buildouts. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience designing, deploying, automating, and operating enterprise-grade and AI-ready data center fabrics using CI/CD-driven infrastructure delivery models.

This role requires strong technical depth, architecture-level understanding, and the ability to work directly with customers, engineering teams, and account stakeholders in fast-paced enterprise environments.


Required Technical Skills

Data Center Fabric Technologies

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • VXLAN EVPN
    • SR-TE (Segment Routing Traffic Engineering)
    • RoCEv2
    • NDFC (Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller)
    • Cisco Nexus-based Data Center fabrics
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Large-scale EVPN fabric design and deployment
    • Fabric operations and troubleshooting
    • Multi-spine/leaf architectures
    • Data Center buildouts and migration projects

AI/ML Networking

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML networking concepts and GPU cluster networking
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • RoCEv2 configuration and tuning
    • Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB)
    • GPU fabric optimization
    • Low-latency/high-throughput networking environments

Automation & Infrastructure as Code

  • Strong automation background with:
    • Python
    • Jinja2 templating
    • YAML/JSON
    • Git-based workflows
  • Experience building and maintaining:
    • CI/CD pipelines for network deployments
    • Automated configuration deployment frameworks
    • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) workflows
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cisco CNC
    • Infrahub by OpsMill
    • Network automation frameworks/tools

Architecture & Design

  • Experience performing:
    • Architecture reviews
    • Design validation
    • Fabric templating
    • Deployment validation
    • Operational readiness reviews

Soft Skills / Stakeholder Management

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with:
    • Customers
    • Account teams
    • Engineering teams
    • Operations teams
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and drive resolution in dynamic enterprise environments

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of Networking experience
  • 5+ years focused on modern Data Center technologies
  • Proven L3 engineering experience in enterprise or hyperscale environments
  • Experience supporting production-critical data center infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI infrastructure networking
  • Experience with automation-first network operations
  • Cisco Data Center certifications preferred
  • Exposure to GPU cluster networking environments preferred
