Pay Rate: $69 - $74Top Requirements:5+ years of Network Engineering experience in large enterprise environments, including hands-on design, configuration, and support of LAN/WAN/Data Center networks.5+ years configuring Cisco Nexus and/or Arista platforms, including modern routing and switching solutions such as VXLAN overlay networking.5+ years experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in complex enterprise networks.5+ years designing enterprise LAN/WAN/Data Center architectures.Plusses:CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE (Data Center) certifications.Strong experience with QoS configurations, enterprise traffic engineering, and bandwidth management.Experience with MLAG, EVPN, CVP, Multicast, HSRP, CBWFQ, DSCP, NAT/SNAT, TCP/IP, Ethernet.Python, Ansible, GitHub experience for network automation.Familiarity with ServiceNow change control, Jira Agile environments, and strong technical documentation skills.Job Summary:This Network Engineer 4 role supports complex, large-scale Network Engineering initiatives requiring deep evaluation and design expertise across enterprise LAN, WAN, and Data Center environments. The engineer will contribute to strategic planning, design, configuration, and optimization of modern network architectures while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Arista platforms, advanced routing and switching technologies, and the ability to collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and architecture teams. The position supports modernization efforts, high-availability network designs, and performance-driven infrastructure solutions in a hybrid work environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN/WAN/Data Center network solutions.
- Implement and manage Cisco Nexus and Arista routing/switching platforms, including VXLAN overlay designs.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols within large-scale networks.
- Design and maintain high-availability network architectures using MLAG, EVPN, HSRP, and multicast technologies.
- Apply QoS and traffic engineering standards to support enterprise performance requirements.
- Participate in change control processes using ServiceNow.
- Develop and update technical design documentation, diagrams, and network specifications using Visio and Microsoft Office tools.
- Support automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, and Git-based workflows where applicable.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and architecture teams in Agile/Jira environments.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide consultation on network strategy and complex issue resolution.
- Contribute to planning, execution, and validation of network changes while ensuring compliance and reliability.
