Role: IT GRC Lead Rate: commensurate on experience however conversion will around 120-125k plus bonus potentialDuration: 12 month contract to hireLocation: onsite in either New Orleans or Gulfport officesDetails:Responsible to lead the ongoing development and execution of the organization's IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Programs, covering key areas such as policy management, risk assessments, issue management, audits, and vendor risk management to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets (data and data systems). This includes leading initiatives to ensure IT aligns with business goals while managing risks and meeting regulations. In this role, you'll work with internal and external auditors and provide enterprise-wide guidance, documentation, and project leadership to support the IT GRC framework. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Leads the development and maintenance of security policies and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements. Socializes policy changes to subject matter experts and line of business.
IT GRC is responsible for full suite of CISO policy framework with end-to-end responsibility (creating policy from scratch, vetting changes with stakeholders, presenting policy changes to committee, monitoring changes, socializing and training end users, interpreting policy requirements in projects/consulting efforts). We often are tasked to interpret industry standards and regulatory requirements and align to HWB practices.- Assists in the development of control documents with Security Architects for applications being governed.
IT GRC is involved in SDLC and project lifecycles and work closely with security architects to interpret policy requirements for new system builds and documenting risks. IT GRC is also expected to work with security teams to design controls, review control tests, and report on results. This goes beyond SOX ITGCs to security control operations (e.g. how to secure an enterprise MFA solution). - Ensures scheduled control checks for Information Technology, Information Security, and line of business defined controls are tracked and reported against.
- Standardizes, documents, maintains, and automates where possible, IT GRC processes.
Lead would assist in standardizing IT GRC team processes, job aids, system development (e.g. ServiceNow IRM), PowerBI dashboards, etc.- Performs IT risk assessments to evaluate risks and compensating controls and participates in enterprise-level risk assessments.
