Job Description
We are seeking a .NET UI and Java/Spring Boot Developer to join our dynamic equities market data technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET UI, Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST services, and CI/CD and a proven ability to deliver scalable market and reference data capture, distribution, analytics, and workflow solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain market and reference data platforms using .NET UI, Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Deliver new features including data source integrations, analytics, datasets, service enhancements, and UI improvements.
- Enhance application availability, resiliency, scalability, and supportability across production environments.
- Re-engineer and stabilize existing applications while addressing technical debt.
- Own deliverables through the full SDLC, including requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with quants, product, business users, and cross-team developers in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Partner with production management and infrastructure teams to improve performance and operability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Java development experience across Java 8 through Java 21.
- Expertise with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and dependency injection.
- Experience designing DTO-based REST/service layers and service/repository patterns.
- Strong .NET UI development experience.
- Proficiency in multi-threaded application development.
- Experience with Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience level: 10+ years developing large-scale enterprise applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Enterprise UI development and service integration experience.
- Knowledge of modern SDLC tools and practices, including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Agile, code reviews, and CI/CD.
- Background in investment banking IT.
- Experience collaborating with production management and infrastructure teams.
- Track record of improving resiliency, scalability, and supportability.
Role Logistics and Notes:
- Start date: ASAP. Target start within 2-4 weeks after offer to meet business needs.
- Work location: Jersey City, NJ (NJ2-525-18-04). Approved location only.
- Hybrid requirement: Minimum 3 days per week onsite.
