Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Power Distribution Engineer / Project Engineer with strong project management expertise to support a large-scale, high-visibility capital project. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional who brings deep knowledge of electrical systems, excels at managing complex project scopes, and can effectively coordinate across EPCM partners and internal stakeholders.

This is a fully onsite role offering significant exposure to a mega project environment, working alongside engineering, construction, and trade teams on critical electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management activities for electrical power distribution scope
• Manage project schedule, budget, scope, risks, and field execution
• Collaborate with EPCM partners and oversee their deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, contractors, inspectors, and construction teams
• Oversee installation and integration of:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Electrical panels and switchgear
  • Outlets, lighting, and associated infrastructure
• Manage normal power transfer systems (non-emergency systems)
• Ensure all work complies with electrical standards, drawings, specifications, and industry best practices
• Drive field execution, proactively resolve issues, and maintain clear stakeholder communication
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to project leadership

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, preferably at a senior level
• Strong background in Electrical Power Distribution systems
• Proven experience managing large-scale or mega projects ($10M+)
• Hands-on experience working with EPCM firms and managing their execution
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, including:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Panels, switchgear, outlets, and lighting systems
  • Voltage systems:
    • 120/208V
    • 277/480V
• Ability to operate effectively in a fully onsite, fast-paced construction environment
