Technology Business Systems Consultant


Locations: Minneapolis, MN | Irving, TX | Chandler, AZ | Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced Technology Business Systems Consultant to support infrastructure financial planning, budgeting, governance, and technology investment management. This role will partner with technology leaders and key stakeholders to manage budgets, forecasts, Statements of Work (SOWs), approvals, and contract renewals.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and analytical skills with an understanding of enterprise technology and infrastructure environments and can effectively communicate financial and technology information to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities



  • Manage and support infrastructure budgets, financial planning, forecasting, and technology investments.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide reporting on technology spending, forecasts, variances, and investment decisions.
  • Coordinate Statements of Work (SOWs), approval processes, contract renewals, and related governance activities.
  • Partner with technology, finance, procurement, vendor management, and leadership teams.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and financial information for executives and senior leadership.
  • Translate technical initiatives and infrastructure requirements into understandable business and financial impacts.
  • Track spending, commitments, forecasts, and technology investments to support effective financial governance.
  • Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improved budget management.

Required Qualifications



  • Experience with infrastructure budget management, technology finance, financial planning, or technology investment management.
  • Strong knowledge of budget forecasting, financial analysis, and governance processes.
  • Experience managing SOWs, approvals, and contract renewals.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Working knowledge of software, infrastructure, and technology environments.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business and financial terms.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience supporting a large enterprise technology or infrastructure organization.
  • Background in vendor management, procurement, or technology finance.
  • Advanced proficiency with budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and financial planning tools.
