The solution architecture, planning, and design phases have been completed. The client is seeking a highly experienced Power Platform Lead Developer / Solution Architect who can serve as the technical lead while remaining hands-on in the build and implementation of the solution within a Microsoft-based ecosystem.

This individual will be the primary technical owner responsible for translating approved designs into scalable, production-ready solutions while providing leadership and governance across development, automation, data, and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end Microsoft Power Platform solution, including:

    • Integration patterns between enterprise systems, Dataverse, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Develop and configure enterprise portal solutions using Microsoft technologies.
  • Build and implement Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate workflows, forms, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
  • Design and implement integrations using Azure services, APIs, Power Platform connectors, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Support data integration, schema design, system connectivity, and reporting requirements.
  • Establish development standards, architecture guidelines, and code review processes.
  • Review and provide technical oversight for work produced by application, automation, data, and QA engineers.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, architects, and business teams to ensure successful execution of approved solution designs.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and post-production support activities.
  • Support hypercare activities following production deployment as needed.

Required Skills:

  • 7–10+ years of professional software development and solution delivery experience.
  • Proven experience leading multiple enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform implementations from design through production deployment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • Microsoft Power Platform
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate
    • Microsoft Dataverse
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Azure Logic Apps
    • Microsoft Fabric
  • Deep experience designing and implementing Dataverse data models and enterprise-grade security architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), environments, solution management, and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, data flows, governance, and scalability considerations.
  • Prior experience serving as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Lead Developer on enterprise programs.
  • Ability to work independently, drive technical decisions, and deliver production-ready solutions from established architectural designs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, capital improvement, transportation, aviation, or public sector initiatives.
  • Experience implementing governance, reporting, dashboarding, and workflow solutions for complex enterprise organizations.
