Cybersecurity Analyst (GRC) - Remote

Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $62/hour (W2 No PTO)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support and enhance enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, risk management programs, and security governance practices. This role will focus on conducting risk assessments, implementing security best practices, monitoring emerging threats, and collaborating with internal teams to protect organizational data and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience within cybersecurity, GRC frameworks, IT auditing, ServiceNow, and database environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
• Develop and enhance organization-wide security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, providing recommendations to leadership.
• Plan, implement, and support layered security controls to protect organizational assets.
• Collaborate with IT, audit, and business teams to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize ServiceNow and other tools to support security operations, governance, and compliance activities.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with:
  • Cybersecurity Risk Assessments
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • ServiceNow
  • Databases
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • IT Audit processes
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management practices, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CTIA (Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst)
• CAP (Certification and Accreditation Professional)
• EnCase Certified Examiner

Additional Information

• Cybersecurity certification required.
• Candidates must be eligible to support organizations subject to healthcare industry compliance requirements
