PowerBuilder Architect

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for PowerBuilder Architect in Albany, NY.

Description:
? Gather and document business requirements.
? Write technical specifications, document process flows and data flows.
? Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.
? Review code and test results of other programmers.
? Create database objects like tables, views, stored procedures, functions and indexes.
? Coordinate and conduct Unit, System and Stress testing.
? Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions and issues).
? Changes requested from the Business Users.

Mandatory Qualification:
? Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code.
? 24 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code, specifically using Version 10.5
? 48 months experience with databases, including designing Tables, Triggers, Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
? 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents
? 60 months experience with projects that followed Project Management methodology.
