This position includes regular onsite work, typically 1-3 days per month. The exact schedule and frequency may be adjusted as needed to meet departmental and operational demands.
This position requires not only technical and functional ERP expertise but also strong institutional knowledge of client's business processes, operational structures, and policy frameworks. The analyst plays a critical role in designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining Oracle Cloud ERP solutions that support efficient, compliant, and scalable business operations across the university.
Acting as the primary liaison between Supply Chain business users, IT, and Oracle Support, the analyst ensures Oracle Cloud SCM solutions are aligned with client's purchasing policies, strategic sourcing goals, and operational standards.
Success in this role requires hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud configuration, data validation, regression testing, and issue triage, as well as proficiency in tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, BI Cloud Connect, and SCM Extracts. Experience supporting one or more Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules such as Inventory, Procurement, Inventory Management, Payable.
Required Qualifications
- BA Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or BS in Computer Science, Information
- System, or related field and 5 or more years of directly related experience; and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 5 years of experience supporting Oracle Cloud or comparable ERP systems.
- 3+ years of experience in relational database, SQL, or system development life-cycle project; and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role supporting Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, or Financials
- Advanced knowledge of business and process analysis methodologies (e.g., eliciting requirements, gap analysis, root cause analysis).
- Expertise in translating business needs into clear functional specifications and system configurations.
- Advanced skills in process design, software configuration, and system modification from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Proficiency in system testing, data validation, and issue triage across multiple functional domains.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in
- the organization. Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non- technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years related experience
- 1+ year of experience in an organization comparable to in terms of budget, size, complexity, scope of operation, and accounting systems
- Knowledge of supply chain, human capital management, or finance systems and processes within a healthcare environment
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
