Job Description

We are seeking a Pega Developer to join our team. The candidate will have experience across multiple technologies and design techniques and will deliver high-quality software through modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using a modern development toolset.


• Apply multiple design techniques and contribute to application architecture and code quality.


• Work within Agile frameworks and participate in ceremonies, planning, and iterative delivery.


• Implement CI/CD, TDD, and cloud-native practices to improve reliability and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (for example, Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Go).


• Working proficiency with development tools supporting build, test automation, code review, and deployment.


• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience delivering in a Scrum or Kanban framework.


• Knowledge of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, application resiliency, and security best practices.


• Working proficiency across software engineering disciplines, including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.


• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting

* Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance

* Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications

* Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation

* Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity

* Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems

* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

* Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software

* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

* Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques

* Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software

* Good understanding of PL/SQL
