The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating high-performance network, server, and storage infrastructure. The role supports datacenter operations, including system monitoring, capacity planning, upgrades, and new datacenter or server room design. The engineer manages on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include deploying and optimizing container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker to ensure scalability and reliability. The role involves establishing monitoring frameworks, improving infrastructure utilization, and driving cost-effective operations. The engineer collaborates closely with network, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions. Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware (HPE, Cisco, Dell, NetApp), virtualization (VMware), Linux and Windows systems, and backup solutions is required. The position emphasizes performance optimization, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
