Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support and drive operational excellence for an enterprise ArcGIS Enterprise GIS platform. This role will lead operational support activities, backlog management, incident resolution, security remediation efforts, testing coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across technology and business teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong Agile experience, expertise in managing Jira backlogs, and experience supporting GIS or other enterprise technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead incident intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
- Manage and monitor security vulnerabilities, including CVE-related risks and remediation activities.
- Own and maintain the Jira backlog, including epics, user stories, defects, and sprint priorities.
- Partner with Product Owners, leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to prioritize work and align delivery objectives.
- Coordinate testing activities across business and technology teams to ensure readiness and successful deployment.
- Facilitate retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular status reporting on progress, risks, issues, and impediments.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective backlog management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Scrum Lead, or similar role.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience with backlog management and Jira.
- Experience supporting GIS platforms or large-scale enterprise applications.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- GIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related coursework.
- Experience supporting ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
- Scrum Master, Agile, or related certifications.
- Experience managing security remediation efforts and vulnerability tracking.
