We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Domain Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead finance workstreams for Professional Services implementations. The role involves solution design, business process transformation, stakeholder management, and end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions in a cloud-first environment.

The consultant will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, ensuring best-practice adoption while aligning SAP standard capabilities with Professional Services industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Leadership & Delivery
• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance Public Cloud implementations for Professional Services organizations, from Fit-to-Standard workshops through Go Live and Hypercare
• Own the end-to-end Finance solution design, leveraging SAP Best Practices and Public Cloud innovations
• Act as the Finance workstream lead, coordinating with cross functional teams (CO, SD, PS, Project Systems, SAC, Integration, Data, and Testing teams)
• Drive Fit-to-Standard workshops and guide clients on adopting standard SAP Public Cloud processes

• Functional Expertise
• Design, configure, and deploy SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance capabilities including: 
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting
• Bank & Cash Management
• Financial Closing & Reporting
• Integrate Finance with Professional Services processes, including: 
• Project-based revenue recognition
• Cost capture and project financial tracking
• Billing, revenue recognition, and WIP handling (SAP Public Cloud supported scope)
• Margin analysis and profitability reporting

• Advisory & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary Finance contact for business stakeholders and leadership
• Advise clients on public cloud limitations, extensibility options, and roadmap-aligned solutions
• Translate business requirements into scalable, compliant, and auditable SAP solutions
• Support change management, user enablement, and adoption of standardized processes

• Governance & Quality
• Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology and project governance standards
• Review and approve functional designs, configuration, test scripts, and cutover plans
• Ensure solution quality, regulatory compliance, and financial controls

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Functional & Technical Skills
• 13+ years of SAP Finance consulting experience
• 3+ years hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance
• Strong understanding of Professional Services business models (project accounting, revenue, cost tracking, billing)
• Proven experience leading Finance workstreams for cloud implementations
• Deep knowledge of SAP Activate (Public Cloud edition)
• Experience with SAP Fiori, and SAP Public Cloud best-practice content
• Implementation Experience
• Successfully delivered at least 1–2 full SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations as Finance Lead
• Experience working in multi-country or global deployment environments
• Understanding of public cloud extensibility concepts (In-App, Side-by-Side, BTP awareness)
