Kforce has a client that is seeking an Executive Assistant in San Jose, CA.
Summary:
This role supports a dynamic Vice President leading a rapidly evolving, high-growth team incubating new technologies in power, cooling, energy networking, and sustainability. The organization operates at a fast pace, start-up energy within a large enterprise, bringing innovative cooling systems and next-generation energy solutions to market. The team is small, collaborative, and scaling quickly - making this a critical role with significant visibility.
The Executive Assistant will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Vice President, providing high-level administrative support, proactive planning, and operational execution. This role requires exceptional judgment, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate is polished, confident, and experienced supporting senior-level executives (SVP level preferred). They must be comfortable pushing back when needed, anticipating needs, and staying in tight communication with an energetic, fast-paced executive who moves quickly. This position also includes light support for a few additional leaders in the organization and requires strong teamwork with other EAs across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
* Manage complex and highly dynamic calendaring for the VP, including prioritization and alignment with strategic business needs
* Coordinate internal and external meetings, including customer engagements, analyst briefings, cross-functional team sessions, and board-related or industry-body meetings
* Support domestic and international travel planning, including flights, visas, logistics, and contingency planning
* Maintain confidentiality and exercise exceptional judgment in all interactions
* Serve as a thought partner to the VP by anticipating needs and enabling productivity
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of supporting VP/SVP-level executives in a large corporation or fast-paced technology environment
* Proven ability to work in high-energy, high-complexity settings and support executives who move quickly
* Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills; Capable of appropriate pushback and managing expectations
* Exceptional professionalism and polish - written, verbal, and interpersonal
* Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with customers, analysts, and senior business leaders
* High degree of discretion, judgment, and confidentiality
* Strong collaboration skills; Able to integrate into an established community of EAs
* Mastery of calendaring, prioritization, and executive-level logistics (including international travel and visa coordination)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
