RF Engineer - InbuildingLocation: Remote - in Las Vegas, Nevada - will have to attend site visits
Length: 12+ Months contract
Payrate: $70.00/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm PST
JOB DESCRIPTION:MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):- - A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or
- - Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- - Experience in RF design. -Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE and 5G technology.
- - Experience in design & optimization of LTE/VoLTE networks.
- - Expert knowledge of propagation modeling in Atoll.
- - Experience with FUZE or similar database program
- - Experience in RF design of LTE/VoLTE and 5G networks.
- - Recent ATOLL experience.
- - IBwave Cert a plus
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Understanding of LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
- Knowledge of various RF tools such as Mapinfo or post processing software.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, and Tableau including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
JOB DUTIES:- Designing 4G and 5G sites in Atoll for inbuilding systems.
- Designing 4G and 5G sites in IBWAVE for inbuilding systems.
- Translate the iBwave design and build the RF solution in Atoll per design requirements.
- Creating RFDS, CQ and supporting documentation for in-building systems.
- Filing 911 and regulatory tasks for all projects assigned to you.
- Updating and maintaining the design tool Atoll.
- Ability to make engineering tradeoffs for RF design.
- Updating and utilizing Atoll for RF EME and E911 issues.
- Assist real estate and project management teams in preparing the site for construction
- Interfacing with the construction team as required to resolve real time build issues.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
