Overview:We are seeking a Tier 2-3 Desktop Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support in a Windows-based enterprise environment. This role handles escalated desktop issues, supports complex troubleshooting efforts, and works closely with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams. The ideal candidate has deep Windows expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and experience supporting both end users and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Windows 10/11 endpoints, resolving complex hardware, software, and OS-related issues.
- Troubleshoot advanced issues related to Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD, and user authentication.
- Support Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, addressing performance, access, and integration issues.
- Perform advanced workstation imaging, deployment, patching, and configuration using tools such as SCCM, Intune, or MDT.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving endpoint security tools, antivirEDR agents, and compliance policies.
- Troubleshoot networking issues at the desktop level including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Support hybrid cloud and on-prem Windows environments, collaborating with server, cloud, and network teams as needed.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians and assist with problem management and root cause analysis.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and enterprise IT projects.
Qualifications:- 4+ years of desktop support experience, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support.
- Strong expertise supporting Windows 10/11 in an enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, and Office 365.
- Experience with imaging, deployment, and endpoint management tools (SCCM, Intune, MDT).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and endpoint security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to endpoint security platforms (Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, etc.).
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
