Sr. Desktop Support Technician - Job Summary (San Antonio, TX)Overview- Sole onsite IT support technician for a corporate office in San Antonio, TX
- Provides full support for desktops/laptops, printers, mobile devices, A/V, and basic cabling
- Interfaces directly with executives - high professionalism required
- Up to 80% travel at times to nearby remote sites (company vehicle provided)
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor, industrial, quarry, and warehouse environments
- Requires prior experience in field-based, driving-intensive support roles
Key Responsibilities- Hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Imaging, installations, configurations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Google Meet or Teams support
- Conference room and A/V setup for executive meetings
- IMAC responsibilities including installs, moves, adds, changes, and basic cabling
- Travel to remote industrial sites to support connectivity and hardware issues
Must-Have Skills- Desktop support & hardware troubleshooting
- Imaging and Windows 10/11
- Active Directory
- Printer and peripheral support
- Strong customer service and executive support experience
- Field/drive-based technical support background
- Ability to work outdoors and in industrial settings
- Ability to travel up to 80% as needed
Nice-to-Have Skills- Leadership or team lead experience (major plus)
- Cabling and wiring skills
- Experience supporting blue-collar or industrial workforce environments
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $48.00/hr.
